5 days left
February 2025
5 Days Left for the Open Call!
Would you like to dive into the art of Wool Processing and Natural Dyeing while sharing this knowledge within your community? If so, this opportunity is for you!
As part of the CommunityCloth project, we’re offering a fully funded learning programme in Porto, Portugal, in February 2025. The programme is designed to train a network of educators who can implement community-based learning models and sustainable farm-to-cloth practices in their regions.
Participants will take part in a practical 2-day course focused on either Wool Processing (from sheep to yarn) or Natural Dyeing, followed by a 1-day workshop on designing community learning activities. Later in 2025, participants will bring this knowledge back to their communities by organising educational activities.
This Open Call is exclusively open to women, as the project is committed to empowering women and community members from disadvantaged backgrounds through sustainable practices. We are looking for women who are:
Teachers or educators
Community leaders (parents’ groups, urban activists, collectives)
Social workers
Individuals working in urban farms, educational services, city councils, NGOs, or fablabs
Candidates must also work directly with or on behalf of target groups such as school-aged youth, citizens with disabilities, unemployed women, and migrant communities (especially migrant women).
Don’t miss this chance to become a catalyst for sustainable learning in your community!
If you have any questions or need more information, please contact us at info@communitycloth.eu
